“Orange Carnation remains part of the ordinary Carnation breeding line despite its color. Crosses are decided by flower family and suitable star levels rather than hue, and a five-star specimen cannot produce another breeding seed.”

- Only works within the same species — a rose only crossbreeds with another rose, never a tulip.
